Meet the Team

Dr Dario Ambrogio graduated in 2008 and has been working in the UK since 2012. At the beginning of his career, he worked as a first opinion vet and an emergency vet for Vets-Now.​

In 2015, he started working for the PDSA as a veterinary surgeon and started a designed Certificate in Small Animal Surgery at the University of Liverpool.

During his time off, he was also visiting referral centers such as Davies Veterinary Specialists and Animal Health Trust to improve his surgical technique.

In 2017 he graduated with a Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Professional Study Award and in 2018 with a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice.

In 2018 he founds DAAVETCARE.ltd which is designed to deliver a surgical referral service within different hospitals and in 2019 he was recognized by the RCVS as Advanced Practitioner in General Small Animal Surgery.

In 2022 he was part of the teaching team at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC#1), teaching and supporting the students in the 5th year.

​

In 2023 he started a new project and he designed a veterinary clinic to deliver high standards of veterinary care for pets. ​

Dr Ana Afonso graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Lisbon – Portugal in 2012.

​

Throughout her internship, she uncovered a deep-seated interest in ultrasound, which has persisted ever since.

Since 2015, Ana has been practising in the United Kingdom. In 2018, she completed the General Practitioner Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging [GPCert(DI)], followed by the Post-graduation in Diagnostic Imaging [PgC(DI)] in 2020.

Outside of her veterinary pursuits, Ana enjoys the company of two playful cats and engages in hobbies such as soccer, exploring new places, scuba diving, and indulging in reading.

Madison graduated with a Veterinary Nursing Level 3 Diploma in 2019.

Her professional journey as a Veterinary Nurse commenced at the youthful age of 17. She earned her veterinary nursing degree while undergoing practical training as a Student Veterinary Nurse at Sandhole Veterinary Centre.

Following her graduation, she accumulated valuable experience by working across various practices, gaining exposure to all facets of the Veterinary Nursing profession.

Krisztina possesses a deep-rooted passion for animal welfare. Her long-term goal is to advance in the field and become a Veterinary Nurse. Currently, she is thoroughly enjoying the learning process while working as a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA).

Outside of work, Krisztina enjoys traveling, reading books, and exploring the world.

Christine's entrepreneurial journey commenced in Manila, where she established and successfully managed her own business.

With a wealth of experience accumulated over the years, she transitioned to Dubai, assuming a pivotal role in overseeing a collection of prestigious luxury spas. Her astute management skills and industry acumen have been instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.

Presently, Christine remains deeply engaged in our corporate mission, diligently attending to both our esteemed clientele and the intricate financial aspects of our operations. Her multifaceted capabilities embody a steadfast commitment to delivering unparalleled client experiences while ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our enterprise.

Sophie graduated as a Veterinary Nurse in the year 2016. Fueled by an unwavering passion for animals, she embarked on a rewarding journey by becoming an integral member of the PDSA charity veterinary hospital team. With unrelenting commitment, she served the organization for many years, contributing significantly to the welfare and well-being of numerous beloved pets.

Outside the confines of her professional endeavors, Sophie indulges her wanderlust by traversing the globe, a testament to her insatiable curiosity and zest for exploration.

Chloe has dedicated a year of her life to being a compassionate Veterinary Care Assistant, but her love and concern for animals have been a part of her since her early years. Growing up, her deep-rooted passion for animals led her to care for and love five adorable dogs, who hold a special place in her heart.

Driven by this profound connection with animals, Chloe has made the decision to follow her passion further. In the near future, she aspires to transition into Veterinary Nursing, eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of animals through her dedication and care.

Patrícia specializes in well-mannered and happy dogs. She believes in fear and force-free dog training, and she uses science-based training. She worked alongside vets for years as a clinical behaviourist. She’s helped 800+ dogs and guardians to live easier and happier lives with their dogs.

Aside from practical experience, she also has wide-ranging knowledge of behaviour modification and applied behaviour analysis.

She’s a Dog Behaviourist and provisional member of APBC (in the process of certification) and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer.
