Orthopaedic  and soft tissue surgeries are exclusively conducted in a designated surgical theatres positioned away from other areas of the hospital to prevent bacterial contamination. This theatres are equipped with special ventilators to maintain clean air, and antibacterial walls are installed to enhance the overall sterility. Maintaining a sterile environment is particularly crucial during these procedures, especially in orthopaedics involving prosthetic implants. Therefore, meticulous attention is devoted to ensuring sterility and patient preparation.

Dental procedures take place in the specialised dental theatre, minimising the risk of bacterial contamination released from the mouth. The theatre is equipped with dental X-ray technology for enhanced precision.

Ensuring patient comfort during these often painful procedures is a top priority, and the Eliza Vet team employs advanced pain management techniques. Continuous infusion of painkillers through infusion pumps is administered, promoting a swift and pain-free recovery for our patients.
