Dental Care

Consistent dental care is vital for maintaining the well-being of our pets. The foundation of a pet's dental health lies in the clinical examination, where the veterinarian assesses the teeth and gums. Tartar buildup on the teeth and, at times, beneath the gums can lead to changes in the mouth's bacterial flora, resulting in unpleasant breath and, in severe cases, gum disease (periodontitis) and tooth loss.

In our dedicated dentistry room, we exclusively focus on dental treatments. These range from straightforward teeth cleaning under general anesthesia to more intricate procedures like dental X-rays and complex tooth extractions. Maxillofacial surgeries, such as those for fractures or neoplastic lesions, are handled in either the Orthopaedic Surgical Theater or the Soft-tissue Surgical Theater.
