We also utilise an intraoperative direct imaging system that allows our surgeons to visualise and confirm implant placement and fracture alignment in real time during surgery. Your pet’s general anaesthesia is closely monitored by our highly qualified team using state-of-the-art ventilators and ECG monitoring to reduce anaesthetic risk. Additionally, we employ ultrasound-guided nerve blocks to significantly minimise pain during and after surgery, ensuring your pet’s comfort throughout the procedure.

All orthopaedic surgeries at Elizavet are performed by Dr. Dario Ambrogio, who holds a postgraduate qualification in surgery. Dr. Dario has completed extensive specialist training and examinations, earning KYON certification to perform total hip replacement (THR) procedures with KYON implants for patients of any size, including dogs and cats.
