We welcome direct referrals from pet owners, so you can contact us directly to discuss your pet’s condition. If your pet has already seen your regular veterinary surgeon, we’ll ask for their clinical history and, with your permission, work with them throughout your pet’s treatment to ensure continuity of care.
When you contact us, it’s helpful to have details of your pet’s symptoms, any previous treatments or medications, and the name of your regular veterinary practice. To support this, access to any diagnostic imaging or laboratory results will help our team better understand you pet’s case history.
Our team will assess the case and provide you with:

- Recommended next steps
- Available appointment times
- Answers to any questions you may have
Your first visit will include a thorough consultation with one of our referral clinicians. We’ll discuss your pet’s medical history, perform a clinical examination and explain any recommended tests or treatment options, giving you plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
If a procedure or surgery is recommended, we’ll explain the treatment plan, expected outcomes and any associated risks before obtaining your consent. Our team will keep you informed throughout your pet’s stay and let you know as soon as they’re in recovery.
Before your pet goes home, we’ll provide clear aftercare instructions, including information on medication, exercise, follow-up appointments and recovery. We’ll also send a detailed report to your regular veterinary surgeon so they can continue your pet’s ongoing care.
