To achieve and maintain these standards, we employ the most modern approaches to optimise our cat care and recovery environment.
We offer a dedicated waiting area for cats to reduce stress from the noise and proximity of other pets.
The cat kennels in our cattery are carefully designed with glass rather than wire-mesh doors and all are positioned at least 15 cm from the floor.
Our cattery is well separated from the dog kennels to give in-patients the best chance of a calm recovery.
Each cat kennel has its own temperature control system to maintain an optimal environment for every patient.
The lighting in each cat kennel is customisable, with dimmers and various colour options. This innovative feature enhances the ambiance for our patients.
Our cat kennel lighting has a ‘Red light mode’ to cater to feline sleep cycles. This feature promotes improved rest and recovery.
‘Blue light mode’, in the form of harmless UVA light, highlights things like blood, urine and mucus. Blue light mode makes this organic matter super visible, enabling us to complete meticulous cleaning of material that would otherwise be difficult to identify and remove.
