Dr Dario Ambrogio is an experienced veterinary surgeon with a passion for advanced orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgery. He graduated in 2008 and has been practicing in the UK since 2012. His early career included roles in first-opinion practice and emergency care with Vets Now, followed by a surgical position with the PDSA.

Dario holds multiple postgraduate qualifications, including a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice and a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Studies. In 2019, he was officially recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) as an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery.

Alongside his clinical work, he has trained extensively in KYON® Total Hip Replacement (THR), becoming qualified to perform THR in dogs of all sizes—including the THR Mini, a system for small breeds and cats.

Dario is also the founder of DAAVETCARE Ltd, a mobile referral service delivering surgery across the UK. In 2023, he launched his own purpose-built veterinary clinic, designed to provide modern, high-standard care with a strong focus on patient comfort, pain management, and surgical excellence.

He has also served as a clinical instructor at the Royal Veterinary College, supporting final-year students during their surgical rotations.
