We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the supportive and close-knit team at Elizavet. You will work on a rotation between Operations, Consultations and In-patient Care. This role would suit Registered Veterinary Nurses looking for a change.

The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the day-to-day running of the practice.

This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics. It also requires you to use your initiative to promote new ideas and support the high veterinary standards of the practice. As our practice grows, this position will attract additional responsibilities, however full support will always be provided.

Key responsibilities

As a Veterinary Nurse at Elizavet, you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties whilst maintaining best practice in everything you do, alongside the rest of the team. You will also help to support and develop the student nurses and vet care assistants in the practice.

Skill & Experiences

• You must be an RCVS accredited veterinary nurse
• Able to carry out all normal veterinary nursing duties
• You must have confidence and experience in handling and restraint of animals
• You will have knowledge of the Gold standard
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to work within a team but also have the initiative to act independently
• Flexible approach to work
• Interest in advancing own qualifications

Salary & Benefit

• A comprehensive package starting from £30,000 – £33,000 DOE
• £500 CPD allowance and 2 days of paid CPD leave per year (CPD is actively encouraged)
• Pension 5%/3% employee
• Sick pay leave of 5 days; subject to meeting the relevant qualification criteria you may be eligible to receive Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)

The clinic

Our lovely, brand-new, veterinary clinic is on Belsize Road NW6. We are investing heavily in our team alongside state-of-the-art technology to help us deliver a gold-standard of treatment for pets. Our practice is equipped with 3 consult rooms, 2 theatres, an in-house lab, 1 dentistry suite, a CT scanner, 1 physio room, digital x-ray facilities and separate dog, cat and infective pathology wards.

This is a Full-Time position, and we can offer flexibility on the number of working days/hours to suit you.
